Toward the end of 2008, the Flagstaff Municipal Court began forfeiting cash bonds that were posted on Failure to Pay charges. The Court presumably discovered that people would post a cash bond to get out of jail and instead of paying for their fines once released, they would NOT pay and subsequently get rearrested again and again for the same offense. Only those cash bonds that pertain to Failure to Pay charges are affected and only for those cases later than 2008. Cases older than 2008 may have their bond forfeited if the defendant has a bad payment history.
Cash-Only Bail Bonds researches all cash bond cases thoroughly before posting them. Unlike some of our competitors that will post your money without informing you of what could happen, Cash-Only Bail Bonds discloses all of your consequences.
Even though you may have a Cash Bond that is earmarked for forfeiture, we may still be able to help you out. Call the Flagstaff bail bond experts.

Cash-Only Bail Bonds in Flagstaff, Arizona
Court-ordered cash-only bail has been found to be unconstitutional in some States, the argument being that cash-only bail deprives a defendant of their constitutional rights to use a surety, thus forcing the defendant to submit only one form of bail...cash. The State of Arizona does not hold to that argument. Cash-only bail bonds may be ordered by the Court in several instances;
1. when a defendant has failed to make payments on a fine,
2. when a defendant has failed to appear for a hearing, and
3. when a defendant is being held for extradition on a warrant from another State.
Naturally, there are no hard fast rules, each Court may administer cash-only bonds based upon its own discretion.
Although anyone may post a cash bond, not everyone has the cash to post. With sufficient collateral to secure the bond, we can post our cash for bail. We can also act as a third-party and post your cash. Fees associated with cash-only bail bonds are higher than typical surety bonds, they are dependant upon many factors, including: collateral offered, if the defendant lives locally, and defendant's Court history.
